After careful consideration to try to explain the outcome of Charlie Gibson’s interview with Sarah Palin, this is the best I could come up with. In fact, I came up with nothing, today’s strip is the fault of David Stein. I’ll forward today’s hate mail to him!

I’d be interested in seeing the documentation and details about how Pig in Lipstick Palin reportedly attended four different colleges in six years.
TCD is just the forum to ridicule Sarah Palin for a view of educational diversity where she managed far more colleges than Obama only managing one. What are the semantic details of her attending four (or five, one of which she basically failed out of, then returned to after making up some coursework at a community college), and no one questions her intelligence or commitment to achievement as even less qualified to be President than Bush, with such low SAT’s that he’d have been summarily rejected at Yale had he been a normal applicant?
OTOH, maybe this makes Pig Palin especially qualified as just what Americans deserve. How better to connect with average people, than to not be among the best and the brightest? Reality denial sex disinformation clearly helped a teen daughter bungle raging hormones like a good all American poster child family. While some of Condi Rice’s foreign policy work with Bush is severely misguided, maybe Palin could help reduce US diplomacy to a level any pregnant teen could understand, and end expectations that serious leadership requires enough intelligence to not substitute being a Pentecostal for Constitutional law? Or, do we deserve governance by the dogma of a California street corner storefront church 102 years old?
