One of the most interesting stories that came out of the Katrina disaster was the 600 plus African-Americans who were shipped to Utah; not exactly the most culturally diverse state in the Union.
A film festival this past week featured a series of films about the displaced evacuees.
One must wonder at how Utah is handling the evacuees. Can the lily-white state actually handle a jazz club AND the more colorful aspects of New Orleans culture? Voodoo dolls and all?
