This is Part 6 of the series “I No Longer Fear The Kucinich Revolution.”
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Looking at where we are at as a nation, we are in the same place with our domestic issues as where Cleveland was in 1977 when Dennis Kucinich was elected Mayor.
When Kucinich took office, the city was out of control. The city was the leader of the newly emerging “Rust Belt.” City corruption was rampant, especially with the city’s police department. In essence, Kucinich took the most unwanted and thankless job in America because he had a vision of a better Cleveland, Ohio.
During his tenure as Mayor, he began the long painful process of turning the city around and he risked his political career as well as his life to do so – to build a better Cleveland. Undoing decades of neglect, abuse and corruption cannot be completed overnight or in four years, but Kucinich’s contribution to the city was to play the role of firewall or intervention counselor. He did his job so well, Republicans that had the job after him, praised his work as being visionary and the city would not be where it is today without his management of they city when it was in its darkest days.
I would submit to you we need a firewall in the White House because the Virus In Chief is spreading out of control.
Those who think they are throwing there vote away who also think Kucinich is the best for the job, well, that is just malware in the system.

Hats of to Dennis for his work in Cleveland, but if thats your yard stick you have to look at what Rudy did in NYC. To not do so, to claim what Dennis did in Cleveland was a greater accomplishment is just completely intellectually dishonest.
As to the comic strip…. Can someone explain to me how “Joblessness” is a problem in America? Last time I looked the unemployment rate was quite low. And how exactly is the economy in tatters?
Sorry, you’ll have to speak up. I’m having a hard time hearing you.

Something Kucinich said a few days ago really says it all. His words went something like this: “When you choose the lesser of two evils, you still end up with evil.”
It’s gotta be Kucinich or we may all be sunk.

Amen! We have never given money to any political campaign until Dennis came along. It’s not tax deductible, but it’s the right thing to do. Two over-55’s in New Salem MA believe that Dennis is the person our country needs.

One reason for low unemployment is many of us have more than one job, me included. Also, there is rampant illegal immigration that drives down real wages – slavery is so cheap you know. Then on top of all of that are the H1B work visas which also artificially keeps down the price of real wages.
Oh, and plus, you forget to include how many federal jobs are included in the job growth numbers.

I have several extra virus and pc maintenance programs lying around the house and thought I could donate them to the Kucinich campaign. That might actually make a catchy campaign spot.
But I digress…
Dennis is a person who speaks out regarding the powers that be and to boot seems to be a person who’s very capable of handling the job of president of the US, so he will need as much “virus” protection as possible.
The neocons will come after him with everything they’ve got. They’ll draw from the regular sources; swift boaters who will say he was Jane Fonda’s lover, old college roommates who’ll say he smoked pot, disgruntled employees who’ll say he smoked crack, gay/porn star reporters who’ll say anything for a buck or a free pass to the Oval Office, A Faux Iran/Contra
actortraitor who’ll say anything to wash over his guilt and self-loathing, Bill O, Hannity, Malkin, Coulter- and other maliscious script(er)s who’ll say anything Rupert wants them to) and hordes of slimy lobbyists who’ll try to corrupt his system, but something tells me they’ll come away emptyheadedheartedhanded…Dennis in `08…

That is such a nice way of putting it. I call ‘em scaredy cats. And can’t even fathom why…
VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE IN THE PRIMARIES! (it’s what they’re designed for a it’s one of the only powers we the people have left. Think about it…)
