Honestly, it has been what seems like FOREVER since we have had another GOP sex scandal. I have mentioned my expectations before about randomly switching on CSPAN and seeing Representative Howard Coble, in the Well of the US House blowing a horse – but what else might be possible?
When will one of the Chris Hansen’s Dateline pedophile stings snag a Congressman? Who will be the first Republican to be discovered as having a diaper fetish? OH GAWD, that is what Tivo was made for!
In the last two years, the GOP has run the gamut of sex scandals. Damn near every scenario has been exposed – dirty emails to pages, hookers, random booty calls in public restrooms. It all makes Clinton look boring.
Maybe that is why the GOP have a love/hate relationship with Giuliani? They identify with him because of the multiple marriages and mistress scandals – oh, and the celebratory cross-dressing. And that is maybe why they also hate him. The Religious Right sees too much of themselves in Rudy?
So here I sit, tapping my foot – waiting for the next shoe to drop.

The biggest problem I see with conservitives and those that lead a very strict, regimented life without aknowledging certain, ‘needs’ shall we say, and lock down any and all inhibitions tend to the worst examples of those that do those creepy things.
I have yet to hear of or find someone who has such a strict mindset NOT have dirty little secrets of looking for small toothless boys with large ears, cross-dressing fiascos and lewd behavior in the bathroom…or whatever else your imagination can think of.
I really think that the scandals and other activity is proof enough that you cannot exist with such inhibitions in place. If the GOP is not a good enough example, look at the Chruch in the present day and throughout history…and if you need an even BETTER example, take a look at Japan. Trust me…those guys are out there in left field sometimes. Seriously.
…oh, and be careful about that foot-tapping Storm Bear. You could end up with a GOP congressman wanting to meet you out back or something.

“Well,just bacause they are perverts doesn’t mean they aren’t nice people!”……on another note of hope…..I just attended a meeting tonight at a new place on Pine St. called “The Inspiration Center”, where I met several very open minded liberal free-thinking folks. they meet there each Thursday from 7-8 pm, usually with a free lecture about some cool topic or the other, then talk more informally about stuff…they will be showing Al Gore’s flick, “An Inconvenient Truth “…sometime soon.Stop by a find out for yerself. It was good medicine for this pissed off lefty.
