Some years ago, one of my family members came up with the idea of renaming deviled eggs, “angel eggs.” We had a good laugh at the craziness of it but over the years the name stuck. This year, my wife and I struck back with Satan’s Ovaries!!!
A good time was had by all.

Offend Jesus?
…how in the hell do you offend a guy that has been dead for over 2,000 years?

After hearing songs like “Would Jesus wear a pinkey ring (on his Television Show)” – a comedy tune poking fun at TV Evangalists and watching “The Mist” my utter contempt for religion has been sealed.
…and so has my contempt for those that blindly follow “The Faith” …whatever that faith may be.
I looked up deviled eggs (at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deviled_egg) and found out that their official alternate name is eggs mimosa and that they came to be known as “deviled” from a time when making them with hot spices was fashionable.
The Chicago Cun-Times used to publish a letter from a reader every October that said something like “Every Christmas I set candles outside my home to guide the Christ child to my door. Who are we inviting with Jack o’lanterns?”. Of course, the unwritten implication was that it was Satan.
One year, I finally responded with a letter that said that the only thing 99.9% of people thought about when carving pumpkins was that it’s something done every year, and the only people being invited were trick-or-treaters. The part of my letter that didn’t get printed said, “If the Christ child is God and needs candles to find his way to your house, he’s a pretty pathetic excuse for an omniscient, omipresent deity.” That part was too strong for them.
I suppose the cause that most of the earlier shows were so popular is due to the original source was also quite fashionable.Compared to the likes of Paradise Kiss, Honey and Clover and Harataki Man,I suppose not many individuals learned of the introductory manga of Sarai-ya Goyou or the novel of Tatami Galaxy before the anime were announced.
